We are excited to welcome the first students to the new Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville in February 2023! Some of our state-of-the-art new buildings are already in place, including a new Kiss and Ride zone for Norfolk Lane at the rear of the site. Access to Reception and Administration will also be available from the Norfolk Lane entrance during this time (see white dotted lines on the image below).
The Kiss and Ride Zone will be operational from 8.20am–8.50am and 3.05pm–3.30pm each day.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during the construction of our wonderful new school, and please keep our children and neighbours’ safety in mind when dropping off and picking up your child. Traffic controllers will be engaged for the first few weeks, and it is recommended that you complete a practice run before the start of Term 1 2023.
Kiss and Ride Zone Rules
- Display your provided name signs on your dashboard before pickup. If you need a sign, please contact the school
- Please do not queue before pick up time, and do not queue across our neighbour’s driveways at any time
- If you arrive too early, find a legal parking spot, wait and circle back after the commencement of the pick up period
- Don’t get out of your car. If you need to visit the office, park legally and safely and walk in.
The video below will give you more details and as always, if there are any concerns, please contact the office: info@shmatraville.catholic.edu.au.
